My
secret to getting sites spidered fast and into the search engines
is to post in popular forums that allow you to include a link at
the end of your post.
I
am often asked "Should I create a sitemap (yes) and submit
my site manually to the search engines (no)."
I
do not recommend submitting your site to the search engines for
a number of reasons that I won't expound on here. The only real
reason that you need to know is simply, the that the search engines
bots - known as 'spiders' - will find your site much faster if a
popular site links to you.
While
you can purchase links, or seek out link exchanges, the best - and
most cost-effective approach - is to simply make a post on a forum.
Below, I have listed a few Internet marketing forums that allow
you to do this (DO NOT ABUSE THESE
FORUMS WITH IRRELEVANT, JUNK POSTS).
Here
is what a post will look like on the forum - notice the blue underlined
link at the bottom of the image that reads "The
Networking King Interviews the Resource Queen":

All
you need to do is create a new post, or "post reply" to
an existing post. Enter your website URL, as seen below. Then enter
the keywords you want associated with your site, also shown below.
